This original Portofino oil painting on canvas is a hand-painted artwork of sunlit coastal charm. The vibrant coastal harbor scenery portrays colourful village facades rising above docked boats and floral blooms. Magenta blossoms and sunny yellow blend with terracotta red, golden ochre, and turquoise waters. My modern impressionist approach awakens an authentic feeling of seaside joy, warmth, and coastal freedom. This canvas brings Italian Riviera sunshine into your home.

To shape this piece, I worked primarily with a palette knife and a thick impasto technique. I sculpted dense, generous layers of artist-grade oil paint directly across the canvas. This method creates a tactile 3D texture across the blooming floral foreground, harbour boats, and buildings. My dynamic knife strokes give continuous movement, depth, and sunny vitality to the composition. The layered oil pigment catches room light with quiet elegance.
