This original Portofino oil painting on canvas is a hand-painted artwork of sunlit coastal elegance. The vertical harbor and boats scenery portrays colourful village facades reflected across calm waters with boats. Sunny yellow blooms and pink blossoms harmonize with terracotta walls, turquoise ripples, and hills. My modern impressionist approach awakens an authentic feeling of seaside joy, warmth, and coastal freedom. This scene brings radiant Ligurian sunshine into your home.

To shape this piece, I worked primarily with a palette knife and a thick impasto technique. I sculpted dense, generous layers of artist-grade oil paint directly across the canvas. This method creates a tactile 3D texture across the blooming floral foreground, wooden boats, and facades. My dynamic knife strokes give continuous movement, depth, and sunny vitality to the composition. The layered oil pigment catches room light with quiet elegance.
