Agostino Veroni: Modern Impressionist Artist in Tuscany
I am Agostino Veroni, a professional Italian artist based in the heart of Tuscany. My life’s work is dedicated to the mastery of modern impressionist oil paintings.
Mastery of Light and the Impasto Technique
My signature style is defined by the impasto technique, where I use palette knives and brushes to apply thick, vibrant layers of oil paint. Painting en plein air allows me to capture the immediate emotion of the Mediterranean atmosphere.
FROM CLASSICAL FOUNDATIONS TO CREATIVE FREEDOM
I was born in Livorno in 1963 and discovered my passion for drawing and color at an early age. At sixteen, I met Maestro Ferruccio Mataresi, who marked a turning point in my artistic development. I studied classical drawing while gradually moving toward color and materials as tools of emotional expression.
Under the guidance of Maestro Giulio da Vicchio, I refined my sensitivity as a colorist and developed a personal language based on the harmony of light. Today, my work focuses on Tuscan landscapes, Italian coastal scenes, and vibrant floral compositions, rooted in the tradition of Italian impressionism.
