This original Florence oil painting on canvas is a hand-painted artwork of sunlit Tuscan romance. The square Duomo view cityscape scenery portrays the cathedral dome framed by cascading purple wisteria blooms. Violet petals and lavender blend with terracotta rooftops, golden stone, and soft azure sky. My modern impressionist approach awakens an authentic feeling of poetic wonder, grandeur, and serene harmony. This scene brings radiant Florentine warmth into your home.

To shape this piece, I worked primarily with a palette knife and a thick impasto technique. I sculpted dense, generous layers of artist-grade oil paint directly across the canvas. This method creates a tactile 3D texture across the hanging wisteria blossoms, cathedral dome, and rooftops. My dynamic knife strokes give continuous movement, depth, and sunny vitality to the composition. The layered oil pigment catches room light with quiet elegance.
