I painted this original artistic nude oil painting after recently rediscovering some old sketchbooks from my classic figurative studies with my Master, Ferruccio Mataresi. Browsing through those pages reignited a deep desire within me to explore the human form once again, capturing the organic harmony of anatomy and light with fresh artistic vigor.

Using my signature palette knife and heavy impasto technique, I sculpted bold, energetic layers of oil paint to give a tactile, sculptural volume to the reclining figure.
