I created this original water lilies oil painting to capture the tranquil, soothing harmony of a hidden garden pond. Standing by the water’s edge, I was mesmerized by the gentle light reflecting on the deep blue surface and the vibrant yellow iris standing gracefully alongside delicate pink flowers.

Hand-painted using a palette knife and heavy impasto technique, I applied thick, expressive layers of oil paint to bring tangible texture to the floating lily pads and dancing reflections. The rich floral tones and emerald greens make this pond flowers impressionist art a unique piece that brings peace, elegance, and natural beauty directly into your home.

Behind the Canvas: This artwork is directly inspired by my private water garden at Villa Minghetti in Tuscany — a personal sanctuary cultivated as a tribute to Claude Monet’s Giverny.
