I created this original Positano oil painting as a hand-painted artwork full of Italian light. This cliffside scenery portrays prickly pear cacti and blooming summer flowers above the sea. Luminous red, yellow, and magenta tones contrast against deep cobalt Mediterranean waters. My textured modern impressionist style evokes an authentic sense of peace, warmth, and quiet joy. It brings a gentle coastal atmosphere and radiant sunlight into your home.

To shape this piece, I worked primarily with a palette knife and a thick impasto technique. I applied generous, dimensional layers of artist-grade oil paint directly across the canvas. This sculpted method builds a tactile 3D textureon the vibrant floral petals and sea ripples. My expressive strokes give continuous movement, depth, and vitality to the Mediterranean composition. The sculptural paint catches ambient light with subtle, organic elegance.
