This original Portofino oil painting on canvas is a hand-painted artwork of sunlit maritime life. The panoramic Italian coast scenery portrays colourful harbour houses rising beyond docked boats and fishermen. Warm terracotta and golden ochre blend with vibrant turquoise, pastel pink, and emerald hills. My modern impressionist approach awakens an authentic feeling of seaside joy, charm, and coastal freedom. This scene brings radiant Mediterranean elegance into your home.

To shape this piece, I worked primarily with a palette knife and a thick impasto technique. I sculpted dense, generous layers of artist-grade oil paint directly across the canvas. This method creates a tactile 3D texture across the wooden boats, water reflections, and facades. My dynamic knife strokes give continuous movement, depth, and sunny vitality to the composition. The layered oil pigment catches room light with quiet elegance.
