This original Ischia Porto oil painting on canvas is a hand-painted artwork of sunlit maritime life. The panoramic Italian harbour art portrays fishing boats moored in turquoise water before colourful waterfront buildings. Emerald green and azure blend with ochre facades, terracotta roofs, and boat reflections. My modern impressionist approach awakens an authentic feeling of Mediterranean serenity, joy, and coastal freedom. This scene brings radiant island light into your home.

To shape this piece, I worked primarily with a palette knife and a thick impasto technique. I sculpted dense, generous layers of artist-grade oil paint directly across the canvas. This method creates a tactile 3D texture across the wooden boats, water ripples, and hillside. My dynamic knife strokes give continuous movement, depth, and sunny vitality to the composition. The layered oil pigment catches room light with quiet elegance.
