I painted this original coastal rocks oil painting en plein air, listening to the soothing sound of waves crashing against rocks and pebbles along Livorno’s coast. Working outdoors allowed me to capture the constantly changing water reflections and raw marine energy. Living here gives me endless inspiration to translate these dramatic coastal lights and shifting Mediterranean atmosphere straight from nature onto the canvas with passion.

Hand-painted using a spatulated palette knife and my signature heavy impasto technique, I sculpted thick, sculptural layers of oil paint to bring the rugged texture of the cliffs to life.
